The FIA family of credit cards offered through the Bank of America maintains a credit card online website with a FIA Card Services home page at www.FIAcardservices.com. Although many credit card customers still receive their monthly statements through the mail, more and more card holders are choosing to get all of their information regarding their specific FIA credit card through the online services provided to each and every credit card holder.
FIA card access can be obtained by anyone who holds a current and active FIA credit card and will consent to register that card number on the website operated by the company. Card access will begin when the individual card holder first logs on and enters their information such as; name, address, telephone, credit card number, etc. This information will be stored safely in the credit card system and will allow the user to choose a user name and a password, ones that will need to be written down so that the log in can be completed successfully.
Once this has been completed the individual credit card holder can enter the FIA credit card website and use it to make a payment, see when the payment was posted to their account, look at current and previous transactions, and conduct other types of transactions. An important piece of information to be aware of is that while the company maintains that all of your information imputed into their system is secure, there are times when the company can choose to share personal information from your records to other entities.
The information such as your social security number, credit history, etc. can be shared with other companies, such as when you have a credit report run on your information. There are some ways and times when you may be able to opt out of the company sharing your own information. To learn how to do this, click on the bottom left hand corner of the website to learn more information about how your privacy may or may not be affected.
As with any other website, the FIA credit card system has a contact tab located at the bottom left hand corner of your screen, once you have logged onto the company’s website ( www.FIAcardservices.com ). This contact button will help you in the event that you need to talk with a customer service representative for any reason. Many times it is necessary for a credit card holder to actually speak with an individual and you can do so by calling the FIA card services phone number at 1.800.655.1491, within the United States.
If you are calling from other countries there is a list of telephone numbers listed on the website. This toll free number will be answered round the clock, every day of the week, no matter what the time or day. This is valuable service, as many people will call later in the evening, while others first thing in the morning. In addition, you can send them a letter at the FIAcardservices address at PO Box 15109, Wilmington, Delaware 19850-5109. To obtain a FIAcardservices fax number, you will need to contact the company on their toll free line. A FIAcardservices email address is not listed on their website ( www.FIAcardservices.com ) so if you want to go that route you will need to call the company.
